I agree, but golly, if we’re talking a third round grade, for instance, then you have decisions.
Generally speaking for most players, if it’s hundreds of thousands, you can make a great argument to stay in school and live like a king if the money is somewhat similar, when it’s in the millions, I think most if not all baseball programs can’t compete with that…..
Making some $$$ and having plenty of eager coeds to pursue might make college more lucrative than traveling on a bus with 40 dudes all over creation.It’s not Arian Foster tacos anymore, which is a good thing. I know baseball ain’t football but the case for a hs player to go to go to school might be more compelling than say 4 years ago.
