Totally agree, but I’d add that Pat not only made the Lady Vols what they were/are, but she essentially made all of women’s college basketball what it now is, rising the competitive landscape to the point that there are enough top athletes to fill numerous programs that can compete. That makes it difficult to win championships, but it’s a result of Pat’s efforts to establish women’s hoops.

He could start by luring away someone like Teri Moren at Indiana. She has done an incredible job building that program. They had four 20-win seasons prior to her and she is about to have her ninth 20-win season there. She would be a big get imo.

That’s why I am never expecting anyone to be on her level. The competition has clearly gotten better, but we have also regressed as a program. I will say it is nice to have your “rock bottom” as a program be an annual NCAAT team with a chance to reach the Sweet 16 every year. Just shows how spoiled we were with Pat.

Whenever it's time to pick a new LVs basketball coach, I hope it's away from a Pat Summitt tree line approach. Just me but there has to be a coach w/out her (Summitt) involvement. I'm sure they (AD) will go after Kara Lawson next though.

K Law would have to be considered…..whether she is from Pat’s “tree” or not, she can coach and that comes first.

Beats me. I wish I could see more of that concert. The Swifties were complaining the other day that the outfit (she wears) was being shown in a inappropriate way as she was walking away from a camera angle showing her backside. Good grief. She's an adult female entertainer & what she chooses to wear on stage is fair game for all to see.
