FOX actually had a 2% drop in overall viewership but everyone else saw their largest increases in several years. CBS had its best season since 1998. Monday Night Football had its best season since 2000. Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime saw a 24% increase. Sunday Night Football on NBC saw its best year since 2015. Very odd that FOX had a bad season but all the other networks feasted.

I'm going to opine that the reason for Fox's poor ratings is due to the plethora of poor teams in the NFC. Who wants to see mismatches involving teams like the Panthers, Giants, Commanders and others in the NFC? There were times that the Bears, Cardinals and Vikings were unwatchable. Arguably the NFC West is the best division in the conference yet they got hammered in games vs the AFC
