Those contracts are usually set in stone since they are fully guaranteed. They can sign an extension to add future money though. He has Club Options in 2027 and 2028. Won’t be a free agent until 2029.Who thinks Acuna will be looking for bigger pay day after this MVP season...Braves may have to rip up that team friendly contract and pay the man....
@Orange. Were you trying to get in touch with me? I’m lurking….(I'll try Taylor a different day.)
I am psyched up that our SEC baseball schedule came out! You've turned me into a pretty hard core BaseVols fan.![]()
He can always demand a trade....just saying Braves better handle this..when Ohtani signs for 50 million plus a year....Acuna's agent will be in his ear...also clubs can redo them on their own without the options...Those contracts are usually set in stone since they are fully guaranteed. The organization doesn’t have to grant a trade request. He is under team control. All they have to do is sit back and say “play or don’t play”. But if a player chooses not to play they can be suspended for conduct detrimental to the team. Acuña and his agent signed that contract knowing he would probably outplay its value. They chose financial security over mac value. That’s on them if they think they can do anything about it.He can always demand a trade....just saying Braves better handle this..when Ohtani signs for 50 million plus a year....Acuna's agent will be in his ear...also clubs can redo them on their own without the options...
Yesterday I went down to Comcast because I had a discount expiring. I wanted to keep the same package at about the same price. I walked out of there thinking I had done just that, until I got home, cut on the tv, and found out the MLB Network is no longer part of my package (along with ESPN News and some other channels). Grrrrr.Spectrum sent me an email saying they discounted my bill for the days I was without the Disney owned channels....lol didn't even look at bill bet they took 4 dollars off and added 5 dollars in taxes!!![]()
