You’re right. There will be some very good teams getting put out in the first round while the AL Central division is abysmal. Right now it would be Blue Jays at Twins and Astros at Rays in the AL. Giants ant Phillies and Cubs at Brewers in the NL. The Rays and Astros could be a matchup of 95-win wild card teams…

He's up to 29 home runs and 4.2 WAR as he could be headed for a third straight 30-homer, five-WAR season. Only 12 third basemen have ever had at least three such seasons -- including Chipper Jones, who had five. Riley hit .266 with a .775 OPS and 16 home runs in the first half but has hit .318 with a 1.070 and 13 home runs since the All-Star break. I’ve drank more margaritas this week, than I have in the last 10 years!
My son in law got me pretty tipsy yesterday evening at one of the local margarita bars.
