If any of y’all are awake, I need your opinion on this because I trust your judgement and also it’s bothering so much that it’s going to keep me up tonight. I need to know if I’m overreacting here. Copying and pasting from my fb timeline.

“So, we have new neighbors…and maybe I watch too many true crime shows, but something feels off about this.

When I got home today, Leighton told me there was a strange man on the second floor who started small talk with her asking her if she lived here. She told him no and ran upstairs to our apartment and locked the door. I noticed there were people moving in and saw one of the men put a gun in his waistband. I asked her to come look and tell me if any of them were the one who talked to her. She pointed him out to me.

I’m normally one to mind their own business, but I don’t think a grown man has any business talking to an underage girl without a parent present. Especially questioning her about where she lives. I plan on informing our front office of my concerns, but I am also really contemplating going down there and confronting him. Momma bear mode is in high gear! Leighton told me that while he was talking to her, she thought to herself “bruh, just wait til you meet my mom”.”

I don’t feel like you are overreacting. You are justified to be concerned and trust your gut.

Yeah that does seem odd. If I were to see an underage girl without parents in my building I would say “hello” in passing to be neighborly but I wouldn’t try to strike up a conversation. Just seems weird to me. I personally wouldn’t confront someone with a gun but I think you are right to voice your concerns to the landlord and keep a close eye on any other suspicious activity.

I watched them unpacking their things from their Uhaul. Just to paint a picture, there are 2-3 men aged mid 20s-30s, sagging pants, cigs hanging out of their mouths. Their crap is everywhere outside the moving truck. Trash bags and clothes hampers. They’ve spent hours going through stuff and casually looking through their belongings rather than loading it inside lol. I’m not one to judge but idk, it’s just weird. Gun or no gun, I am not afraid to confront, I just don’t want the drama.

Should have walked by and asked if they were having a yard sale.

Marcell Ozuna is now batting 3-36 (.083) on the season. Seriously, can we just bite the bullet and cut this guy? He is literally providing nothing to the Braves. It would be more profitable to cut him and get a young guy some ABs.

I may be in a boat on my own here, but I like Ozuna. You'll laugh at "he just needs some more time" but when Ozuna comes around, he comes around in a great way.

I’m not overreacting to the Volunteers bulldozing an outmatched team on Tuesday because they were playing a team out of its Weight Class.
If they’re an improved team they’ll win series when they play SEC teams instead of just the win game 3 to avoid getting swept.

Hello everyone on a Spring Thursday.
Thunder had a feel great Win because of defeating the Pelicans in a a playoff tournament game. They have prospered after the Golden Durant Era.

My Bulls had an impressive comeback win to soul crush the Raptors that failed to defend the lead.

You can never watch too many true crime shows, nor can you be too overprotective regarding your kids imho. Given that there is a reason my family calls me grandma - ( note - not female ) but still always be vigilant. If your spider senses tell you something is off - something is probably off. I wouldn't confront them at this time - but it warrants further attention both by your daughter and yourself. What's the harm in assuming these may not be great people - and prepare accordingly. It's an increasingly dangerous world - especially for young people.

Based on both OFF and ON field performance, he should be long gone. AA has done a tremendous job as GM with this contract being the really poor exception.
