I will say that it sucks we have a good kid that’s been through a lot and his season is ended involuntary due to injury while Alabama continues to play a kid that brought a murderer his weapon and attempted to keep the victim from fleeing. The world can be a messed up place sometimes.

He’s playing it all up, too. Maybe it’s me, but I see this smug guy that is using this situation almost as if he’s the victim. It burns me up.

Eventually, what goes around comes around. Especially whenever you are running with murderers. Wouldn’t be shocked if they end up finding other messages or calls as evidence showing him to know he was bringing that weapon for intent to kill.

That, or the Tuscaloosa Mafia will squelch anyone coming forward that might want to do the right thing.

No neither of us played. I got into watching the World Cup. After every WC I wanted to start following a club team but couldn’t ever get into it. Started dating a girl from London who was an Arsenal fan. The rest is history.

I think the pitch clock and the pick off rules will definitely be good for the game. I just think the clock time needs to be tweaked. I would have gone with 20 and 25 seconds respectively but I can’t complain too much about that. At least we won’t have to watch batters adjust their gloves or pitchers doing those ridiculous windups anymore.

Luis Garcia was probably most affected among pitchers, with his rock the cradle wind-up. He looked great in his start Tuesday.

Those “cheaters” play the Cards today. No local broadcast in Houston. Radio again today.

So, I’m enjoying a little extra time in The Dugout today. Tell me guys, and ladies, where is Tennessee baseball as it stands today relative to what you thought it would be 10 games into the season?

When I got married we had one of her songs too, but that was 100 years ago.
Should have been a clue for me when our first dance was to Patsy Cline’s Crazy.

I expected to be 10-0 but I also don’t think we have underachieved. I knew going into those first two games that those were NCAAT teams and wouldn’t be easy so I was mentally prepared for a slow start. Pitching is actually more impressive than I expected, which is crazy to think about because I thought we would be the best staff in the country. Turns out we have the best staff and it’s not really close. The deepest pitching that I can remember. The offense has taken a noticeable downturn in power but they are still above average in my opinion. Whenever you go from historically great to above average it just seems like a big drop off to casual fans.
