I guess we all outkick our coverage at some point. I dated this sorority girl/cheerleader whenever I was freshly out of high school. I swear she could have said she was a model and it would have fooled me. I consider it a gift from God that we crossed paths.

To be honest ... :) it was dirt from my backyard that I sold to the guy y'all bought it from.

When I was a kid I wrote letters to baseball and football teams. I got team photos, stickers, and random stuff in return. I remember the California Angels sent me a photo of Nolan Ryan.

The Dallas Cowboys almost cost me an eye. I got their envelope in the mail and I was so excited to open it, I tore into it with a letter opener and grazed an eye. If it been off half an inch I would’ve totally stabbed my eye. Nothing like freaking out the parents and time at Children’s Hospital.

Yeah, one time I wrote a ton of letters, sent out some of my favorite baseball cards in hopes of having them signed. Unfortunately I forgot to add a self addressed, stamped envelope for them to be returned. My dad finally realized it after I waited a year for autographs. I was heart broken! Do you know how hard I worked and how many chores I did for that 86 Topps Jose Canseco, 85 Topps Darryl Strawberry and 80 Topps Dale Murphy??
Fortunately for me, they are pretty much worthless now and I bought them all a few years ago for a few dollars each.😁
