I will kiss this past year’s ring but you and I both know they didn’t deserve the previous one. That entire organization, players included, should have been banned for an entire year and the trophy vacated. No draft, no games, no paychecks, no nothing. They all got off with a slap on the wrist.

Yesterday I saw an Astros fan with the whole getup, cap and jacket. Feel bad for their fans, they must get a lot of unwanted attention for the incident a few years ago.

Yeah it’s not the fans fault but everyone involved with what they did should be ashamed. It was worse than gambling on their games or doing steroids imo. The sad thing is that they were good enough to win without doing all that.

No, not on the scale that the Astros were doing at least. They had a live feed of the game streamed down into the clubhouse and would bang the trash can once for fastball, twice for off speed or vice versa. I can’t recall. The Red Sox and Yankees were implicated during the 2017 season and then immediately ceased their operation. MLB sent out a memo reminding teams of the electronics policy afterwards. The Astros were using their operation during the 2017 and 2018 seasons, even after the memo was sent out. The public reporting of the Astros scandal came out in late 2019 or early 2020. MLB says they didn’t find any evidence they were still sign stealing in that 2019 but do we really believe that? The NFL covered up the Patriots videos so you don’t think the MLB would try to limit to public image hit also? There was a report the Yankees were cheating as far back as 2015 and the MLB covered it up. The Astros fraudulently won that 2017 Series and came close to winning again in 2019 season, losing in 7 games to the Nationals. The Yankees and Red Sox don’t surprise me doing shady stuff because they always try to buy their championships anyways but I assume the Astros got wind of what those teams were doing and decided to take it to another level. People want to say professional sports are rigged and quite honestly they aren’t wrong.

Not that I care but maybe others do. 5-star CB Cormani McClain out of Lakeland, FL is ranked as the #1 cornerback & number 12 overall prospect on the 247Sports composite list. He announced his commitment to Miami in October but didn't put pen to paper. Wants to play for coach Deion Sanders.

I don’t think using the Phillies “feasting on the Nats” last year is a very good example.
Those same Phillies had to play the Braves and Mets 38 times and were a combined 13-25.
