They are loaded. They also are under the most heat to win it all. Expectations are really enormous by media, fans, players, coaches, etc. I think they’ll have a good season, but in the end, I think the pressure cooker gets ‘em, and they don’t win it all. Anything less than that will be a huge disappointment to those Cajuns and they will go stark-raving ballistic. They’ll come apart at the seams. That LSU squad is loaded!

No doubt. I think that sense of entitlement definitely extends to the Yankees, Alabama football, Kentucky basketball, etc. They truly believe national championships are their birthright. Also, if you haven’t been around LSU baseball fans, they think along the same lines. That’s another reason this coming season has a lot of storylines. So mostly for Cajuns their expectations are win the College World Series or the 2023 season is a disappointing huge failure much like the Yankees fans that have the high expectations view win the World Series or that season was a huge failure even though that goes against facts and common sense including winning season, won their division, made the Playoffs, etc.

BOOOOM!!
Man I hope C-Mo and Burke bring back a little bit of that swagger from the last couple of seasons.
Our rotation is very Workman like and seems like they don’t feed into that nonsense, but I like the nonsense and hope we get more of it this season!![]()
I understand and don’t want any shenanigans costing us ballgames. If you get more of it you will lose games, IMO, because the umpires have been told do not put up with it. It will have to be constrained some. It cost us last year and I hope that is not the case this year.
I don't think so. Still too much experience that we brought in that will be there along with a little attitude from some who were there and the pitching staff, especially the bullpen, will have some pizzazz. Just figuring out how to get everyone some at bats and innings in the field.I understand and don’t want any shenanigans costing us ballgames.
I guess I’m talking more of the thought process swagger.
The attitude that we’re gonna stomp some butt every time we step on the field and then going out and doing it.
The never backing down from anyone or any situation swagger.
I don’t worry one bit about our pitching. Those guys are confident and just go to work, ALL of them, from Starter to closer and everyone in between.
But I worry about the 1-9 side of it this year. We are replacing a ton of pieces and I hope we don’t lose that confidence that has been building over the last few years.
Great list! I lived in Chicago for 10 years once and have eaten at several of these places. I’m not a connoisseur but just know what I like, including deep dish. The Yankees haven't won a World Series in a long time so the Bronx Bombers underachieving with fans viewing multiple seasons as failures after the Rodriguez the Captain Jeter era isn't a foolish view.
I'll be seeing the Cubs play the Yankees at Yankee Stadium this decade, and I will say with facts to Yankees fans why Chicago Deep Dish pizza is pizza, not a calzone or a casserole.
This is from this article about the best Chicago pizzerias to eat Chicago Deep dish pizza.
A popular variation is stuffed, which has another thinner layer of crust on top.
That's what a Chicago deep dish pizza is, except not Chicagoans and New Yorkers can't accept that so they dismiss is mistakenly as a casserole.
