Oh yeah everyone knows the final polls are a joke. They just rank the top 8 by the College World Series and then the rest of the rankings are who they believe are the best teams. There is no logical reason for a team to drop from 1 to 9 for losing a three game series.

I think they tried to pass the torch in kingdom of the crystal skull, but they made the unfortunate decision of selecting Shia Labeouf as the heir.

Which would have been a huge mistake because Shia Labeouf is not some badass action hero which is exactly why Mark Wahlberg a credible actor as a badass action hero was the main action hero in the terrible Bay Transformers movies after Hollywood saw the huge miscast.

It was like French Stewart as a badass hero in Stargate which was also a huge misfire because he’s not believable as a badass action hero in that great Science Fiction
Drama movie.
Eddie Murphy is a comedian, however he’s proven he can play Badass Characters including in 2 48 Hours movies, Beverly Hills Cop movie series, etc.

Not every comedian can be another Eddie Murphy or any other comedian that can hit a home run as a badass protagonist meant in a serious Action movie, science fiction, horror, etc.

How is Brazil still #1 whenever they couldn’t even make it out of the quarterfinals? It is literally called the FIFA World Cup. I guess they don’t value winning a tournament with all the top teams in it. Brazil is treated like Alabama in football, except Brazil hasn’t made a World Cup Final in two decades…
