My guess is refs have to shield QBs now bc of the concussions they've been having lately.
Looks like the tackler was gonna sling QB down to the turf like Tua got a week or so ago.

Half agree. If you win your division after 162 games, you shouldn’t have to match off with 3 wild card teams.

After watching the games, I agree with this
It’s not fair to teams that win their division.
Go back to the one game wildcard playoff.

Is it just my pet peeve, or does it bother anyone else when UT is referred to as UTK? UT is the flagship university and only the other locations should be referred to as UTC, UTM, etc. In fact, TX should be referred to as UTA. TN is the one and only UT.

The UTK thing doesn't bother me, but then again I recognize that I am not a native Tennessean nor an alumnus. Tennessee is the older school, although I believe it was known as Blount College at the time of the founding of UTexas. So, that is a conundrum that I'll let other people argue about. The other problem with Texas is that UT-Arlington is already known as UTA, so that's out. I hate to say it, but in my experience virtually everyone who works here refers to it as UTK.

Edit: If I posted this statement on the football forum, I would be guaranteed to be brutalized, hopefully not in here...
