I remember when he played for the Braves in the 80s. Long & lanky he was. His nickname when he was at the Braves was I-285 because he got lost getting to the stadium on time one day. I can't remember if he was to pitch that day's game but they (team mates) laughed at him for getting lost.

I’m not gonna lie, I want the Braves to deplete the farm system and get Ohtani to Atlanta! They have great young prospects and I really enjoy watching him play!
With the young stars they currently have, if you throw in Ohtani, you’re a force for 3-4 years and could win a couple more World Series titles!

We'll have to sit tight & wait to see what happens. But the farm system won't be depleted for one player. :) This ain't the Dallas Cowboys & the Minnesota Vikings making trades here.

Baseball is the only major sport that cared about all the statistics throughout its entirety. I’m shocked they actually were that detailed way back when. I’m thankful they recorded everything for future generations.

I don’t think we would have to deplete the entire farm system. Just give them the top 5 prospects in the farm system and they might go for it.
