They are lucking out with that one because next year they are switching to a lottery like the NBA Draft. Hopefully tanking will be a little less prevalent with the new playoff format too.

Yeah, I think that's the idea to the lottery - keep teams from tankin. But the Orioles have already feasted on the drafts for the past 3 or four years, and have stocked their farm system nicely. Just in time.

Cardinals hit 4 consecutive homers for the 11th time in MLB history. The first time I remember seeing this happen was whenever the Dodgers hit 4 in a row to tie a game in the 9th inning.

Right now they lack starting pitching. They are good at outfield, catcher, bullpen, and 1B. They are becoming competitive again. Look for them to work some trades for starting pitching this year and offseason. They might well be contenders next season, but everything would have to go right for that to happen.
