I found out in another thread that the TVA is cutting back on the electricity today.
Must be a bunch of morons at the TVA running the shop on the coldest day of the year.
The TVA is requiring rolling blackouts throughout the day today. Customers may experience 15-minutes of power interruption as companies trip their breakers one area at a time.

There was one spring break where my parents were on a cruise, sister away at college, so I was home alone. We had a historic ice storm and the power was out all week, spent that in bed with seven blankets listening to a battery powered radio.

I think the blackouts were canceled.
Apparently there was an issue with a generator.

I think 3 times is it for an area. I've only had that one at 12:30 ET.
