I’m with you OB! Did we get better by losing Contreras and our #1 prospect in Kyle Muller, and gaining Murphy? Contreras is younger and was just as good at the plate and was only getting better behind the plate!
I don’t like this move at all, but the talking heads on MLBN are acting like the Braves got a steal and that Contreras is not a big loss.
I can’t think it’s a cost cutting move, surely Murphy is getting paid more than Contreras?

Also the East Coast Rivalry
The NY Rangers in the Garden play the NJ Devils.
Also I’m eating delicious thick pizza that is Detroit style pepperoni pizza which is thick and squared, and drinking Coca Cola.

The pizza was delicious, and crunchy which I assume is normal for Detroit style pizza because I’ve never ate Detroit style pizza in Detroit Rock City since I’ve never visited Detroit.

Jersey is putting together a nice season so far.

Which is the main reason why I picked the Devils Blackhawks game on April 1st also others. Also because that game will be on TNT .

My mother is looking at information for what tickets are available before choosing which Blackhawks game we’ll see for the 2023 Blackhawks games Ive narrowed it down to.

Mostly New Jersey Devil related which is I believe the New Jersey Devil a crypto animal is a real animal that lives in the Pine Barrens woods.
The reports are that’s where persons have seen the terrifying winged animal.

I’m doubtful it’s humans misidentifying an animal, and I doubt this was intentionally created by New Jerseyans as a way to attract tourists because Watergate didn’t remain a secret, the existence of Area 51, Al Capone profiting greatly from bootlegging during the Prohibition of Alcohol era, the White Sox intentionally losing a World Series, WWE and other pro wrestling is fake, the existence of the Secret Society that is the Skulls, etc.

Actually used that phrase in my youth, attempting to be humorous around adults. One on my favorite Jed phrases is “Weeeeee, Doggie!” Just perfect, exclaimed under the breath while relieving one’s bladder.

Where is @VolPack22 ? I need to break down this trade with him and OB.

Horrible trade imo. Contreras has an OPS that’s 100 points higher. He hit two more homers in over 200 less plate appearances. Murphy is a great defensive catcher, but the assets given up don’t matchup. I would have tried to hold onto Contreras as long as I could. The dude is only 24 years old and made an all star team last year. Worst trade AA has made and it’s not really close. I have no idea what he was thinking on this.
