Don’t know if you saw but Bruce Bochy is the manager for the Rangers. Expect them to be a playoff contender real soon.

Yeah and they are maybe the top contender for deGrom. They have some money to burn along with the Giants.
It should be an interesting offseason.

I would say this is deGrom’s list outside of a return to the Mets. If he wants to be a World Series contender then the Braves would be his best option. The Giants are about to offer every free agent more than anyone else will offer but that division is owned by the Dodgers. The only downside to playing for the Rangers is you have the Astros and Mariners that will be ahead of you for the foreseeable future. So if he wants the best opportunity to win, that would be your 2021 World Series Champions, the Atlanta Braves
