I listened to something crazy the other day about that season. They said they wanted Woody Harrelson to do Sam Rockwell’s character originally but he wasn’t available so Leslie Bibb (Sam Rockwell’s partner in real life) told him he should do it. He only had like 4 weeks to read and memorize the script and did that iconic monologue in one take.
