Nah, go home & score & then turn your attention to the dude w/a broken left arm.
Running full speed it’s kind of hard to tell anyways. All you are doing in that situation is looking where the ball is and looking at your 3B Coach rounding second. Just seems like good sportsmanship whenever someone has a nasty injury to not take advantage of it but sometimes you can’t tell.

I never really root for Draymond but I do recognize him as a great defender but I do root for Steph. Loved his game ever since Davidson.
…will a deep respect suffice? He has beat the Rockets ass coming and going. That’s actually overstating the fact. Houston was close around 2016-2019. We had a 63 win season in there with Mike D’Antoni.

Next time that dude will think twice B4 running full speed to catch a ball near the wall.
Watching the replay, its a wonder he didn't break his neck along w/a kneecap. They have to learn to stop being such a hero by crashing into the wall to catch a baseball. Its dumb.

Yeah that season y’all had CP3 get injured in the playoffs I thought y’all would win. Steph is just THAT DUDE imo. Completely transcended the sport.

Tell that to Hunter Ensley. I’d rather have guys like that not afraid to put their body on the line than ones that are nonchalant. I can’t stand outfielders lallygagging to the ball.

Easy to say when its not you laying up in a hospital room watching Gunsmoke reruns w/a broken body & w/a concussion looking at beautiful nurses all day & can't do anything about it. 😜

Hunter was lucky that day as we all know. We aren't talking about his kiss w/death here.
A professional baseball player should know better than to crash into a wall at full speed. This will be a good example to everyone playing the sport to stop being a hero. But, hey, what do I know? Go knock yourself out of the game for a couple of months .... next man up, right?

This is very funny to me. I had someone doing a repair over here. And when he told me how much it would cost, I said :"You're killing me, Smalls" and we both laughed. The reason it's funny is because I've never seen the movie. I've just heard the expression and seen the picture so many times in this thread and the context becomes clear. 😃 Thanks, Dugout.

Hunter walked with a bad limp when he got back iirc. There was a video of him and some others walking back to the facility when they returned as national champs. The man absolutely gave his all for Tennessee. I like the nickname "Big Game Hunter."

How socially awkward. We put @MAD on double newbz probation until he reported back having completed his assigned indoctrination.

Sand Lot: Watch it!
Bull Durham:
Major League:

These are my three baseball “cult” movies. 🎥 🍿

I wasn't sure I should admit to it, but I had to thank the Dugout gang for my real life punchline. Credit where credit is due. Improving my social graces.

I’ve seen all 3.
Sand Lot and Major League I watched at the beginning of each of the last few season.
Bull Durham I saw years ago back when I was living in Durham.

I’ve had my fair share of run-ins with a fence but I was more aware of my surroundings so I never got injured due to that. Unfortunately this was a Reds player with very little MLB experience playing in a stadium he had not played in prior, unless it was some exhibition or college/high school game.
