Oldest Vol here?

Dang that's crazy. But when you put it in terms like that, I remember seeing games at Neyland having turf, the upper deck still being a horseshoe, and the glorious V O L S atop the stadium.

I sat in the old wooden bleachers in the north endzone under the old scoreboard.

My Dad is a VN member who reads regularly, but doesn't post. Somehow, inexplicable as it seems to me, he is 78. He is a retired 24-year Navy veteran who raised his 3 boys to be Vol fans, despite living at duty stations around the world far away from Tennessee. He was the best man at my wedding 31 years ago today and will always be my hero. I love you, Dad!

Man It’s hot in here , my eyes are even sweating a little . Awesome post my friend .

Just turned 30.

I'm impressed that you geezers deal with technology. My dad does facebook and that's it. My grandma just now figured out how to open her camera on her smart phone. Still cant get her to text though.
My wife is a technophobe, but she has embraced texting because she can check up on her number one son at WCU. Of course, if she doesn't get a response in six hours she get s real nervous.

I don't willingly hand over any personal information no matter how trivial. You'd be surprised what data miners can glean from even minimal information. I can say I'm not the oldest Vol here based on blue hairs I've seen at games. And comments made on VN by certain members here.

They already know everything about you

looking out for his P.I.I. , ( I was looking for an excuse to use that acronym casually )

I know I'm not the oldest, but would like to see who attended their first game the earliest. I saw a 1957 earlier in the thread.
