love the 63 pic. that was the first year i started following the big orange. i remember mallon faircloth running out of the old single wing. he was the first vol name i remember. man, i'm getting old !!! GBO !!!

I remember Hubert McClain 1960 to 1961, Fullback Nichols, Mike Lucci, Faircloth, I think Delong was there though it may have been the next year, Hubert intercepted a vandy pass in a frosh game , returned it 80 yds, td

That was the national cover of the 1969 Street & Smith. I had that magazine and looked forward to it every year. The Auburn photo was from the 1969 game but the Bama photo (black & white) was from 1971. The orange yolk was worn on the road in Birmingham.

1968 Cotton Bowl against Texas. The first time in my lifetime that I saw the Vols wearing white uniforms. I told my Mom that must be some other team because we do not wear white.

That one picture with Coach Neyland smiling, all the players are cheering him for it. They played so well that day that they finally got a smile from their coach. Love it.

The '78ND game is a hard find and truth be told I am getting older & the Bama game photos are blurring together, I'm getting foggy about IDing specific years.
