Had a friend that left here with $500,went to HOUSTON, TX. He has lived longer there than here now. He's a VP of a very good company,now making big bucks by our standards.Gated community to live in,That's a long way from a poor boy from TN. 2 children,both boys,they love to come back up here to granddad's and ride in the sticks.Cool success story,I should've gone.He still calls me and says (What's wrong with the VOLS) about whatever,football, b-ball,we played them all as kids.A whole lot of pick-up.What a great old friend!:hi::good!:

I thought of this because of the alien thread and thought I would share it . When I was around 12 ( 1972 ) The alien phenonomen was in full swing and me and a neighbor K.C. would lay on the roof of his dads shop listening to the beach boys and watch for space ships . We saw alot of ufos , which now I figure were just falling stars . Wow what a good time to be a child !
