There were some vocal fans that wanted Shane Beamer back when Brent Pry was hired. I don't know anybody or anything but I kinda think he would be a very early contact for them. Doesn't hurt to call. Now, I'm not saying he can coach. That's on them.

I presume every coachless P4 team in the USA wants Alex Golesh. He's gotta be the go-to for everybody.

Fitzgerald would be an interesting hire. What he did on the field at N'western was extremely impressive and his PR has improved since he was fired because of the hazing scandal (time + he ended up settling a lawsuit with the University for wrongful termination). Plus I don't think people at a bigger football school care as much about hazing.

you can go any college football affiliated website you want and find COMPLETELY different lists for the favorites at VT on each one. If you dig hard enough, there's prolly one saying to come after Heup.
