And most of the game we whipped the d line, but they made a few critical plays.
Sorry but this isnt true. Even the announcers, who hate to call oit college kids, said that we created zero push until halfway thru the 3rd quarter. Thats 5 on 4 btw.
Even with the game on the line, we LOST YARDAGE on 2nd down, then got whipped again on 3rd down, so Dobbs tried to dive from the 5 yard line...which of course didnt work and may have injured him.
Our O line isy only serious concern moving forward...we flat got MANHANDLED at home om the line...which the SEC NETWORK was quick to say over and over after the game. WE GOT MANHANDLED BY MUCH SMALLER TEAM, EVEN WHEN WE HAD THEM OUTNUMBERED. IT IS EMBARRASSING ON NATIONAL TV AGAINST SCRUBS
Would love to read someone's creditable opinion on each Olinemen from last night. I also would like to ask VFL34 if he could run behind this Oline, I've been hearing a lot of Hurd bashing today. I imagine it's tough on a RB who gets hit constantly behind the LOS, and only5 plays are called all night.
But man, if Dormady plays we win by 50After I watched the replay and focused on the oline primarily in passing plays it wasn't as bad as I thought. More inconsistencies than anything. It's like 4 of the 5 would pick up thier blocks well but 1 player always made a bad play, and it was a different one each time. I saw plays where Richmond handled 5 different pass plays well then blew 1. I was more upset with the interior line play than the tackles. Even J.Roberston seemed off his game tonight.
