OL Woes

And most of the game we whipped the d line, but they made a few critical plays.

Sorry but this isnt true. Even the announcers, who hate to call oit college kids, said that we created zero push until halfway thru the 3rd quarter. Thats 5 on 4 btw.

Even with the game on the line, we LOST YARDAGE on 2nd down, then got whipped again on 3rd down, so Dobbs tried to dive from the 5 yard line...which of course didnt work and may have injured him.

Our O line isy only serious concern moving forward...we flat got MANHANDLED at home om the line...which the SEC NETWORK was quick to say over and over after the game. WE GOT MANHANDLED BY MUCH SMALLER TEAM, EVEN WHEN WE HAD THEM OUTNUMBERED. IT IS EMBARRASSING ON NATIONAL TV AGAINST SCRUBS

Go back and watch the line on every play. I did. You are over reacting to one game. If it continues, then we have a problem

Would love to read someone's creditable opinion on each Olinemen from last night. I also would like to ask VFL34 if he could run behind this Oline, I've been hearing a lot of Hurd bashing today. I imagine it's tough on a RB who gets hit constantly behind the LOS, and only5 plays are called all night.

Hurds first 2 steps are too slow when our line sucks
I kept saying all game GIVE KAMARA THE BALL ...he is not small and is much quicker to get up to speed. Cox from ASU was the best RB on the field last night. Hard to not see that

Nobody has said anything about leaving so I don't know where you get this bye stuff from. So it bothers you that somebody posts about being disappointed?

If it makes him so miserable to watch then why watch it? Just leave. Not to mention you wished Dobbs was injured. Don't need fans like you pal

Another thread where you say his injury would be a blessing so Dormady would play. Never mind, I got you confused with another hater.

I watched some of the replay and all the App st players had to do to beat our O-line was to swat at their hands then run by them. It was pathetic. It was like our O-line had no use of their arms.

The play calling killed the line. They knew what was coming. There was no pass threat, no misdirection, no creativity AT ALL.

Play calling was some of it, but I'm not giving the O line a pass when guys are getting to Dobbs through the middle of the line without being touched

False! Dormady would open the playbook and force defences to respect the pass and not sit in a short passes.

No he wouldn't. He's just another player on this team who is badly coached, and with the OL he has, he wouldn't last very long.

After I watched the replay and focused on the oline primarily in passing plays it wasn't as bad as I thought. More inconsistencies than anything. It's like 4 of the 5 would pick up thier blocks well but 1 player always made a bad play, and it was a different one each time. I saw plays where Richmond handled 5 different pass plays well then blew 1. I was more upset with the interior line play than the tackles. Even J.Roberston seemed off his game tonight.

But man, if Dormady plays we win by 50

Show me where he has done this?

Obviously he hasn't had much a chance to show it but he always looked to have a live arm when he has a chance to pass and we can't be much worse than we are now. We will find out next year anyways.

He's not more accurate if you look at stats
