In all honesty, probably has to do with a coaching staff using a scheme that is too complex for a lot of these players. We know that high schools don't run many college offenses because they are too complex. We also know that colleges don't run NFL offenses because they are too complex. This shows that there is a sweet spot in college where the schemes aren't too basic but aren't too complex. Maybe Butch dealt with smarter players at Cinci, maybe the guys on the team smart enough to run the scheme (Colton Jumper) just aren't athletic enough. Look at the players Saban recruits, to get a 5* rankings a player has to not only be an athletic freak, they also have to understand the complexities of football to a crazy degree

His feet is to slow at tackle maybe he could play guard, he got ran around the first 2 games not over like Thomas still got a little hope for Richmond but Thomas is a joke.
