Huh? its a comparison of principles, not sports.

We got the coach we could get, i think whats more ridiculous are the people with enough ego and delusion to think we could do any better and are upset with the hire because we didnt get who they wanted.

An example:
Q: How much is your home worth?
A: How ever much the person buying it is willing to pay.
This is fair market value - plain and simple, crying wont make anyone pay more.

We got Dooley. Get it?

what i'm saying is that this idiot said 20 folks were coming to a camp. A lot of people said well having 20 is cool. When it was finally discovered that in fact at least five times the initial speculated amount were coming everyone said ah see? When in fact just a second ago they were saying 20 is just fine. I relate it to someone jumping in a room and saying we are breathing poison while Everyone is like no poison is just fine to breathe. Then someone says I have proof we are not breathing poison. Everyone says ah see. Then i'm the guy that says well wait a damn minute what's with all this it's good to breathe poison business you all were just saying? I guess my question is, is that if we had 20 people coming would everyone really be cool with it, or were we just trying to defend our boy dooley? And Yes i'm drinking.

So the new strategy on VN is start a lie bashing CDD and then some people defend him. When people defend him tell them that you were lying and that they're all idiots for defending the indefensible (even though it was a lie). Good one. I'm starting to lose interest in this board.

It wasn't a comparison of principles, he said "Tony Stewart couldn't win in a Pinto" referring to the fact
that Dooley was close against LSU and BSU with a "Pinto" of a team.

If those of you who think records are everything just think about this. Bill Belichek when he was with the browns had a record of 36-44 i believe. Now with the Patriots he is 112-48 and is regarded as one of the best head coaches in the NFL. I know that NFL and college are apples and oranges but he was pretty much a no name coach and his only main tie was Bill Parcells (who has won SBs). Let hope that NS has that type of coaching tree and we may have found a guy who has cut his teeth at a lower level and now is ready.

This is what always frustrates me about Tenn "Fans" instead of supporting your team, we try to find ways to discredit or make fun of them. I know there are some on here who truly are vol fans for the rest of you who aren't. Jump off the bandwagon now, we true fans want some more leg room.

I've never been in favor of the blanket method. There were a ton of guys, like last year, who didn't even belong in the same class as most of the actual guys we are currently recruiting. I would prefer smaller camps, but obviously until we start attracting the best talent, our camps will largely be full of non-D-1 talent, as Antonio Richardson said today. Same thing happened last year, so it will take time and results to get the best here on a regular basis.
