'Ol "Bowl Cut' is BACK!!! (Jim Chaney)

I remember coach Chaney stating he loved TN when he was here.
Yep - said it both times he was here and there are accounts that Hamilton personally went to Chaney and asked if he would stay after Kiffin left.
I don't think he got a fair shot under Pruitt. I always felt Pruitt micromanaged too much and never let Chaney fully run the Offense.

The 2012 offense with him calling the plays was fantastic. Unfortunately, the defense that year was historically terrible. He resurfaced again under Pruitt but that was a complete disaster as well.
That is what is so perplexing! Back then we were scoring 40-50 points but losing 45 to 40 or 55 to 50. However, that’s what football games scoring are now!

He can re-use ALL his adidas gear...

This is a Saban like hire.

I agree 100% if the Sunseri experiment turned out Dooley would have lasted a while, Wilcox leaving screwed him. That offense was super talented with Hunter, Da’Rick, Rivera…and who was the RB that year?

Considering the offense isn't this season's achilles heel, why is Chaney returning to the hill? Seems Landry Jones, Halzle and Heupel are working cohesively for the time.
Maybe because Josh thinks the same way that we do…based on the defense the offense is going to have to outscore everyone we play
