I don't see why so many people are chalking that game up as a loss. They looked terrible at the end of this season and I don't see them coming in and whipping us in Knoxville. I think it will be a good game, but I think we will get the W.

Thoughts?

I think our young team will take so much confidence from our bowl win, if you will pardon the mixed metaphors, will go through the off-season hungry and smelling blood in the water and will run full-speed into OK.

I wouldn't count this game as a loss but I sure wouldn't put it in the definite win column either. They return a lot of juniors and seniors and should be motivated after their lopsided loss in the bowl game. They are in the middle of coaching changes specifically DC. They will be tough but I think we will be tougher.
Plus all of these teams like a shot at the big bad SEC team no matter who it is.

It's the next "measuring stick" game for sure. I just hope we have a quiet off season and nothing happens to take the focus off the momentum this team as built.

I just want a win in this one. Even if they were down this year, they are still a marque name that will draw attention to the VOLS. i do not need a blow out just a W. It will be tough though. Stoops seat is getting warm out there so he will be motivated for next season, then throw in the chance to beat an SEC team in their own stadium and we will draw his best effort. His hate for the SEC runs deep.

You guys are setting yourself up for a let down. Guys we just beat Iowa. I'm excited for the future also but guys slow down.

Team 119 will present a very competent defense for the Schooners this time around and results will show.
Granted, this is the 1st time in a long time, that I can truthfully say, I expect the Vol's to go toe to toe with Oklahoma.....regardless of the outcome

Indeed. Look for 8 wins this year. We still have another year of building to be where we need to be.

I am one of the most cautious and pessimistic Vol fans around, but the general air surrounding this team going into the off-season is so positive. The players are going to feed off the positive momentum. I am not necessarily picking an SEC championship, but I think 8-9 wins is a real possibility, including this one. I think we are second in the East next season.

Like a baby conceived last night, you will have to wait 9 months and then get back to me.

I traveled to Norman to watch us lose in 2014...

I plan on being in Knoxville to watch us return the favor.

BTW...the OU Folks were some of the most hospitable I've ever experienced. I hope we show them the same in return.

PSSSST..anybody that has 4 tickets for that game...specifically on a Club Level...I need them! (They took GOOD care of me in Norman...)
