OU fan chiming in. For concerns on the OL, they are projected to start four seniors and a junior. They dont have a ton of starts, but they have ton of experience, including at juco. A few promising redshirts ready to play to shore up depth.Plus their mvp, coach Bedenbaugh. Probably wont be as good as last year, but will be pretty good. The backfield will be better, the wr will be better. They added a really good juco wr who tore iti up at juco; i know he has to prove himself, but those highlights sure do look good. At any rate, the other guys are back and a year better, plus the new guys are so far practice heroes for what that's worth. The new system will be a boon to the offense. If Riley can turn 2 stars into a powerhouse offense , i'm sure he can do a little bit of magic with some better talent. I dont know who the qb will be, but I suspect Mayfield who is a slinger, and that's how the offense goes. So combine that with one of the nation's best backfields, I'm excited to see what they can do when they play a real team.
Your qb Dobbs looks real good and he's going to make plays. He'll be a good test for this defense, and maybe he and Striker can have a little duel in the backfield. They claim to be letting Striker run looks this year, as last year they were trying to get fancy pants putting him in coverage a lot. Looking forward to it, Tennessee will be a real challenge and will be one of the toughest teams on OU's schedule. They are certainly not a 7-6 team.
