OKC does.
But it's almost as easy to fly into Dallas, rent a car and drive.
Not trying to be smart, but how's it just as easy? Norman is like 25 miles from OKC compared to 150+ from Dallas. Wife and I got crazy cheap flights on SW from Nashville to OKC, by crazy cheap I mean free thanks to SW points.
My boss who's an OU season ticket holder is arriving in town tomorrow for a few days before he heads to Norman, I'm going to get the lowdown on what to do and where to go from him. Unfortunately, my wife couldn't get off Friday so we don't get into OKC until 10pm and leave out 6am on Sunday so not much time out there.
There's not many airlines that fly into OKC directly, especially without a layover. Southwest is getting a few new routes put on the schedule, but I'd say many of them still feed through Dallas-Fort Worth and Love Field.
So depending on how much time you want to spend or waste, it's sometimes easier to fly into Dallas and rent a car instead of waiting through a four-six hour layover. Especially if your ultimate goal is to rent a car anyway.
Sooner in Oklahoma here. Glad to have you guys coming to Norman and can't wait to make the trip next year. Curious as to when some of you are coming to town and where you are staying. I sure would't mind pointing you in the right direction for Friday night and Saturday tailgate or pre game.

Gotcha. We go through Houston on the way out there and STL coming back. Both legs are only 4 hours. Previously SW only went into Love and they didn't even have direct flights to Love, I've heard that's changing though. Everytime I've gone to Love it's been through Houston or KC. I have meetings 1-2x a year at the Hyatt at DFW but I refuse to fly anything other than SW so I fly to Love and make my coworker in TX pick me up and take me to DFW. He cusses me everytime haha.
Bars/restaurants around Campus Corner:
O'Connells
Logan's
7/47
Louie's
The Mont is just a few blocks east of Campus Corner
bunch of other bars and restaurants in the area, just walk around and you'll find plenty.
Tailgating is mostly south of the stadium along Lindsey and east side of stadium along Jenkins north of Heisman Park - you'll meet tons of friendly Sooner fans.
Any must-see/go sites or places we can't miss?
The Switzer Center is a must-see for OU football history, trophies, memorabilia, and great for any true fan of CFB. It's open on Fridays before games from 9-6, located at SE corner of the stadium. The OKC Memorial in downtown OKC is memorable and moving. Sam Noble Museum (south end of campus by Lloyd Noble Arena) is cool if you're bringing younger kids. Norman and the campus area is very compact and generally easy to get around.
Friday night you should spend in Bricktown in downtown OKC. Lots of great restaurants and bars. Norman has many too, a few more that I didn't mention above are Brothers and The Garage on Main Street for burgers.
Campus Corner will be rocking all day on Saturday for pre-game. Find a table at Louie's, O'Connell's or Logan's and you can drink and watch games all day. Weather is going to be perfect so there should be lots of good outdoor activity. Have a great time in Norman, looking forward to the return trip next year!
Hated Switzer in college and the NFL, but in his retirement years he's awesome! Last of the good ole storyteller head coaches and he isn't shy about expounding on the recruiting tricks... Some money here...a free A there...everyone did it... He just did it better! I'm a big Switzer fan now.
That's great . . . Barry is an original, overcame a lot as a young man, became a legendary coach, always speaks his mind, lived large, won 3 MNC's for OU, and is widely-revered in Oklahoma and by OU fans everywhere . . . we still call him The King. He has his primary home in Norman, visible all around town, always friendly with fans, comes to most OU games, and a big part of the program.
The Switzer Center covers OU football from the beginning, all four coaches who have won 100+ games at OU, bowl history, players, lots of trophies, cool football memorabilia.
