Similarly, Nebraska fans I sat next to @ MC bowl were like "come on boys, you can come back", when they were down by like 3 scores in the 4th. UT fans are same cloth, but nice folks can only put up with so much until they erupt...which obviously happened Sunday.

Assuming Peyton Manning actually said this and it's not a rumor, what the hell does a man who never coached a day of college football in his life know about the readiness of a man who's been doing it for 15 years? I care infinitely more about what Clay Helton said than anything Peyton allegedly may have said.

Peyton Manning knows a lot about playing quarterback. He's not qualified to evaluate the readiness of anyone to be a head coach at a major college football program.

And he's double not qualified if he actually signed off on Schiano.
