I guess what I'm saying is, last year everybody pretty much knew OK was going to win, and there was no bullshat chatter on this board by timid little punks from our opponents' fan base. Now, this year, everyone in the country knows that the VOLS will compete against all opponents on their schedule, including Ok. So, yes, I would attribute the increased chatter to fear. It is well founded my friend and your' mouth will close Saturday night. At least on this board.

With all due respect tnraider1, this passive aggressive tendency of yours is getting a little old. You just can't help yourself, can you? Just like Striker, you keep poking the Vols with a pointy stick, trying to figure out how long it takes for someone to snap so you get your moment to assign an attribute to the entire board--heck, the entirety of Vol nation. Words like sensitive, or homer, or whatever makes your teensy little heart glow with the warmth of a "gotcha!"

Well, I'm not sensitive, especially not to transparent trolling techniques that occur on every fan forum from opposing teams' fan bases, so there's not a gotcha moment to be had with me. Thanks anyway. And as long as you and Striker and Stoops keep running your mouths (figurative and literal) looking for that gotcha, you're really doing nothing but starting a fire you just might not be able to put put--or to face the consequences if that happens.

I'm pretty positive you won't be coming around anymore after Saturday, win or lose, but I just wanted to let you know that no one here is fooled by what you're doing. So I hope you enjoy the game and good luck for the rest of the season trolling other fans of other teams. Maybe you'll find a gotcha moment there.

I came to this forum looking to discuss the game and the first week of the season, and to see what UT was truly bringing to the table this week. If anyone wants my opinion on the game, I give it to them. If someone wants to banter back and forth about any team or individual matchup, I'm more than happy to. But if I see sunshine pumping, I'll call it what it is. If I see someone twisting stats in a misleading way, I'll call them on it. Now I've been more than complimentary about Dobbs, Coach Jones, Hurd, Kamara, and the opportunity to witness this game Saturday in one of college footballs most amazing venues. But I've only been aggressive when approached with aggression. Anyone who has been respectful of me has received the same in return. Trash talking with other fans can be a lot of fun, and some your fans are great at giving it right back. But if someone isn't up for it mentally or emotionally, then honestly they shouldn't take part in it. If someone gets butthurt over it, that's their problem. Every opinion I've stated about your program or Oklahoma's has also been made by some of the Vol faithful on this forum. I get attacked for it because I'm the "enemy" this week and a typically confident Oklahoma fan. I'm fine with that because it's to be expected. But I always do my best to back up my words with facts, stats, or something that reinforces that particular opinion. Some people don't want to hear the truth, and that's not my problem either.

I'm assuming that the fire you speak of and the potential consequences of said fire are in reference to the game, and not some personal threat. My words on this message board won't mean diddly on the field when that whistle blows. Same for the words Stoops said, or Striker, or the ones attributed to Brown Jr. that he didn't even say. I don't make a habit of trolling other team's forums, so maybe you should feel honored that I and so many other Sooner fans were concerned enough about this game to want to discuss it with your group. It's a sign of respect for the current status of your program. I didn't come here last year, because I knew we were going to win. This year it could go either way. But if I haven't been banned for some reason by Sunday, I'll surely be here to congratulate you, win or lose, and wish you luck the remainder of the season. You might be surprised to know that I'm a humble winner as well as a gracious loser. Have a good evening.
