That game is a must win next season wouldn’t you think with the difficult schedule we have in 2024.

With no divisions, I don't think so. What if we only lose 2 or 3 games, and that's one of them? We will be fine either way

26 / 45 with 2 TD's and 3 picks. Most here would not be happy with that. Lets hope this tempers expectations for Nico. Same situation as Oklahoma QB.

Nico is in a no win situation with our fanbase. If he plays well, people think he will never lose a game and be better than Peyton, if he doesn't play well, he will be a bust and people will want him benched.

Factor in that his first start is against a top 5 defense, as well. Hope our OLine can give him time and open space for the run game. Guys around Nico need to play well.

If he is as advertised a taller version of Bryce Young, the Oline don't need to block perfect. Everyone remembers our Dline all over Bryce Young in that Bama game, only for him to escape like Houdini and either complete a pass or run for a 1st down. Nico has that same cool calm demeanor as Bryce we will see but he was the #1, 5 Star in the Nation for this, its his TIME.

No he didn’t. He was the main reason Arizona jumped out to an early lead. Threw 3 INTs and should’ve been 4.
I watched that game and he reminded me a lot of Kublik from Clemson. I personally think Oklahoma will go after a P5 portal guy, I don't think we will see Arnold next year. The good thing will be early and the QB position will still be raw in the Sooner Offense.

Nothing has changed from the last guy or the next guy. Over the top expectations .
I'm sure soon Jake Merklinger will be the most popular player on the bench.

Who has said “taller version of Bryce Young”? That’s a new one for me. I’m just looking forward to watching him progress from his first game all the way through next season. I have no expectations, as he has yet to take a meaningful snap in college football so I’m just gonna sit back and enjoy the ride

Watch the interview with Nico himself it was said in the interview, cant remember verbatim but something to the tone of you've been described by many as a taller version of Bryce Young, and Nico responded something to the effect of I love Bryce's game and have followed him closely. Just what I saw and heard yesterday.

OK won't be very good next year, I don't know why anyone is concerned about that game. Other than we might not be very good either and if that's the case it will be a long season.

I read the an article that mentioned it. I think it may have been one of the offensive lineman that made the comparison.

I hate putting a must win on the first SEC road game of the season with a young QB at the helm. A win would be nice but I don’t think it is a must win by any means.

If I had to pick a must win game I would say the Florida at home. A win in that game would hopefully build momentum for a tough stretch of home games.
