ok who thinks we can beat fl

Refusing to count us out after seeing what this team had in the first half last week.

Dooley will make adjustments. Game should be much closer, especially with UF struggling, in Knoxville.

I think we stand a much better chance against FL than we ever did against Oregon. Oregon would have taken FL to the woodshed if they had played them in either of their first 2 games.

Numerous people on the team believe that it will be a defensive stalemate and that the NOISE in Neyland will spook their younger players.

Too many times I have went into this game thinking we had a chance only to have my heart ripped out. I will always believe, but I am a realist and I know our chances are slim. Dooley has to TEACH these kids how to win. Not only that, we have to have better players to be able to count this as anything other than a L on the record.

I think UT has a very good shot at this one.

Consider this: many thought that Wilcox would be a factor against Oregon since he has shown that he knows how to defend against the spread option. Maybe that worked against UT this time since Oregon better understood from previous games what they needed to do against a Wilcox D.

Maybe Wilcox can sneak up on a Florida team that hasn't played him.

now i see how vandy feels. we try and try but without depth we wear down. we just can't compete this yr. i am even worried about ky.

I'm not really. We gave the number seven team in the country a run for its money for at least a half. Guess who gave Kentucky a little trouble...Western Kentucky. I didn't watch the game entirely, and even though UK turned it on eventually...UK was only up by a touchdown at the end of the first Qt and WKU put 28 points on the UK d-fense. UK didn't look like they were anything special.

Although they always play UT tough and it always seems to make me nervous I think the streak continues.

If our young team can play some inspired football and learn to play through adversity then we have a shot. Channel the highs and ride out the lows in a game. They need to understand that there are going to be bumps in the road. They need to learn to play beyond emotion. But its a lot to ask of this team after two games to suddenly be cool and collective vets. It'll come eventually. This is such a young and inexperianced football team.

I think Florida wins this one, too much talent, and though they are Tebow-less, they have more to play for and more to lose. They also have more experiance. I can't say that we don't have a shot. But we cannot fall behind early. If we play the same as we did against Oregon in the first half through out the entire game then yeah we'll win. But even then we may lose a close one. The odds are stack against us for sure.
