Oregon should have took a direct flight to The Swamp and USF should have went up to Tenn... Then we MIGHT have something to talk about.

I think we played as expected. Unfortunately we gave up big plays in the 2nd half and basically quit. Next week will be no different. Look for the positives. We need a QB though.

:eek:k: Um, right. Sorry, but did you watch the game tonight? LOTS OF HEART, NO DEPTH! We cannot stick with a good team for an entire 60 minutes. Talent wins out. We better get used to it for a few years. Hope Dooley can recruit. This is NOT NEGAVOL. This is a fact.

simms isn't the greatest, but he's good enough to win, hard to do much when they're in you're face in no time

Florida will cream us if we play like this. Interceptions going straight through your hands for a TD. INT returns, Punt returns, lack of tackling on their busted play ending up in a 72 yd run. Unfortunately this has a recent typical feel for a Tennessee football season.

Your post is not true. Tenn played hard with what players they have. There is no mighty Tenn. The team has to be rebuilt. If people cannot wait they are other teams to root for.

If UF is only half as good as Oregon (which they aren't) then we still get beat by 20.

Oregon would have laid 50 on South Florida. Florida offense looked terrible. Demps is fast, but that's about it. He had 139 yards against South florida, big whoop....

We will see on Saturday. I think it will be close, but unfortunately I think our depth and youth get us like it did tonight.

Hey guys I've got an idea. Let's just forfeit the rest of our games, (saves alot of injuries for the players and grief for the Big Orange faithful). Then we'll all go to Wal-Mart and buy up all the freakin "Rammer- Jammer" Roll Tide BullS*** we can find, go back to our trailers and we'll have a "real" team to root for.
Ya'll go ahead, I'll take my underdog Volunteers even if they don't score another point. If you live long enough you'll learn that it ain't all roses year after year......Go Vols.........Commish

As I said on the other thread, I thought UF's offense looked quite good in the second half today. I expect us to be better. I think Dooley's a good coach and you guys will be better, but I sure didn't see anything in the two games today to lead me to think UT should beat us. Of course, any SEC game can go either way.

Oregon is far better than Florida.

We'll likely run into the same problems in the second half against Florida. But, I think we'll be able to force turnovers against them that we weren't able to get against Oregon.

It will be a close game... could go either way.

Yup. They've seen that they can put 8 men in the box and get away with it, and that the no huddle gives us fits, and that they can wear us down.

If we come out and compete i will be a happy camper. Lets just be honest were not gonna win the sec championship this year so if we come out and get better every week then our program will be moving in the right direction. I do think we have a chance tho if we take this loos and grow from it. Its the sec anything can happen.

I think UT has a great chance. Control Demps and its a W. Of course UF can find their rhythym by then, but UTs offense is about as good USFs, and the D is a little better. Will they win? IDK Ill mull it over.

It will be like this week...the youngsters will gas out, and florida will take advantage of it. We have a long way to go...
