OK State vs. TN

Off subject, but had to laugh. We are blessed to be able to live in a nice upscale neighborhood. Our next door neighbors had to sell and move back home to Oklahoma due to job loss. House hasn't sold and we were anxious about possible tenants so someone moved in yesterday whom I assume are renters. You always hope for the best. Today I pulled into my driveway and I saw that he had already put a power T flag in the front yard, so I laughed and told my wife that I knew these were good people. Sorry for the off topic post.

I admire what Gundy has done there. He'll always be little brother in the state. And he's clearly done more than less than Mack Brown, and IMO Stoops. Atleast the past few years he has. With that being said, Oklahoma and Texas are clearly on the decline. If he were in the SEC he could win off of his coaching ability imo. The question is how he would recruit.

Gundy is a man, he is 42 years old. You have something to say? Say it to his face.

Ok State has looked pretty good this year though. They stomped Texas in Austin which is no simple feat. (I was there). They're top 10 right now I think, so that's pretty darn good. Very close to elite in my book.

Wanted to pose this question in this forum where the recruitnics reside. We all love our recruiting class both for ranking and needs filled. Looking at OK State over the last three years they have averaged around the 30th ranked class in the country. Their record over that time is quite good with that talent. Just a bad Big XII or something more to it? The consensus is that a couple of years of top classes and we can be a top 10 team again, but OK State is already there with their current talent. Thoughts?

Oranges to apples.
GO VOLS!
