Ok st alumni oil guy matches offer

I know there's sarcasm there, but he used to be worth multiple billions. He has donated at least his current net worth to the academic and athletic sides of Oklahoma State. He's also 89. If he wanted to match, he would and could by himself. Not that I believe he will.

It was complete sarcasm, was laughing at all those numbers being thrown around. I know several years ago he paid most of their stadium renovations. I have seen him interviewed several times, seems like a really down to earth kind of guy.:good!:

Well, I think I know a good high school coach. Maybe we could land him. It looks like there is no one else.

How does a big cash influx like this work? Does Pickens have to give it to the school, so it is legit? And why are we always handcuffed by the cost of getting a top tier coach?

So does Charlie Ergen of DISH. But we aren't going to go over $9 million per year nor should we. If they have matched the offer (and I don't know if that's true), we will move on to someone else and that's fine. We should be able to find somebody worthwhile for the kind of money we now seem willing to spend.

This chit getting way out of hand, IMO. I also eat a hot dog occasionally but I be damn if I pay $10 for an artery clogger.
