Shrout didn't make any real costly mistakes. Looks like a starter to me. Read a report that JG is having surgery on his broken non-throwing hand tomorrow and Pruitt expects he will be ready to play next week against UAB.
CJP was being a smart azz to Kesling. CJP: JG has a broken bone in his none throwing hand, and will have surgery tomorrow (Sunday). Kesling "will he be ready for next Saturday?" CJP: "Sure".
I'm pretty sure it was a smart azz response.
Maurer if all are healthy.
My guess is Maurer and JG won't be, so Shrout for UAB which is fine.
Went from thinking we had (maybe) 1 QB to having 3 serviceable QBs today so it's a huge win for us.
Personally, I thought JG looked incredible tonight--looks like he cured the yips and got his MOJO back. On the other hand, JT looks like a natural. Pretty nice problem, I guess. I'm lovin' 'em both right now.
