USC loses. Polls now confirm what we all knew: best 8-4 team in the land.

This thread gonna drive the NegaVol and Eeyore posse nuts. :)

Best 8-4 team this year? Probably. Nobody was upset about that statement.

But the fact you're bragging about 4 losses says plenty about your loser mentality.

Yay for us. We are an awesome team. Only 4 losses away from mattering.

We haven't been 4 wins away from mattering in a long time. Not saying i'm ok with losing but you have to recognize progress.

That's just it, it shouldn't be progress, this was set up to be special. Butch not knowing how to count and when to call timeouts and Butch not understanding big boy football cost this team.

Here's another idea that will drive Wylo nuts. If Iowa wins the B10, as it appears they will, and somehow miraculously runs the playoffs to become national champions, the Vols can claim Co-National Champions by Time-Transitive Property because we beat them at the end of last season. :) :) :)

EDIT: this was, it turns out, premature. Iowa not winning the B10.

Uhm look at out record the past 10 years. This is progress. A special season would have been better, of course. But 8-4 is obviously progress compared to where we have been. But i'm sure this will not change your opinion.

Then stop watchingg until they hire a real coach.

I think Wylo is a sleeper Florida fan, disguised as a NegaVol Tennessee fan.

My evidence: all of Gator nation is absolutely peed-in-their-wheaties depressed and frustrated right now. Wylo seems peed-in-his-wheaties depressed and frustrated right now.

I think that just about seals it. :)

Lol. Keep dreaming.

So you don't think TN is better than the same Iowa missing its two best players from last year? While TN is a better team than it was in Jan?, and Iowa didn't improve that much. . . . . .

I think Wylo is a very passionate UT fan that expects the best from us at all times and isn't satisfied

He is just a tad over the top though.
