Both were amazing movies. Easliy the 2 best action/ sci-fi movies of 2012. But enough time has passed and they've had time to sink in. Pick one.

I will begin by voting for The Avengers. Better action. More epic. Hotter girl. Overall it was just a better movie experience.

Dark Knight rises and its not even close . The avengers is an awesome movie, no doubt. It just isn't on the same level as tdkr imo.

They are so different in tone it's hard for me to vote. Avengers is really just a fun superhero smash em up movie where as DKR takes its self very seriously and is a borderline drama. Both are epic but in different ways.

TDKR by far.. had a better story, Hans Zimmer, Bane is cooler than Loki, Catwomen was hotter and better than Black Widow. the only thing The Avengers had going for it was the action..still a fun movie but im just not that into the Marvel movies.

Haven't seen DKR but I fell asleep during Avengers. Of course I also haven't seen Iron Man 2, Thor, Hulk, or Captain America. I'm not that into comic books.
