I look at this game and Iowa's strengths point right at Tennessee's weaknesses. Their DLine is what is so strong about their defense and Tennessee's Oline is, well, what it is.. Advantage Iowa... Tennessee's DLine is not that deep especially in the middle and Iowa's Oline looks like 5 refrigerators coming at you... Tennessee is all Freshmen and sophomore on their first ever bowl trip and Iowa is SR heavy and most are playing in their 4th bowl game... Somebody give me some hope...

I thought your title said "I'm a warrior." Hope -- Team 118 is all Volunteer warriors.

You do know that we play in the SEC right? And that we played a team with a better front 4 every other week? And that we played a team with a group of 5 road graders as often?

Our Oline is weak, but it was tiring and hurt by the end of the year. A month off is a bigger boon for us than it will be for Iowa.

We also have much better playmakers. It will be a UT win. Stop worrying.

1-Butch Stones
2-Dobbs and Hurd will FEAST on their lack of speed
3-this bowl game means more to this team than any other bowl for any other team. Team 118 will want it more.

Iowa will be a tough matchup. I just believe that our emotion for being in a bowl game will prevail. Effort will not be a problem. Crowd will be on our side.

Try telling that to Central Michigan or any of the 4 in the playoffs.

I would like our chances a lot better if Croom and North were available. I think we are going to have to find a way to use our speed. Get Pig and Pearson involved in the running game with the Jet sweep.

I think this game is going to be a lot tougher than some of Volnation believes it will. I sincerely hope UT can eke out the win.

I do respect the speed the SEC brings for sure. But with all do respect Iowa almost always typically brings their smart game to bowl games. Since 2001 against "Speed" teams in bowl games Iowa hasn't wilted very much. We may have lost a few in there but speed was hardly the deciding factor. By smart game Iowa tends to play smart football that covers gaps and shortens the field so that speed doesn't become the deciding factor. Easier said than done, we shall see how it works in this game. Because quite frankly Iowa is schizo.

I don't think we're a (speed) team yet. Our D is led by Maggitt, Maybin,Barnett, and the speedy Sutton.

your not a worrier, your a woman. You think about all the non-linear things that give you a vaginia. UT will play, Jones will coach. If they screw up we loose. If the dont, we win. Its that simple, Yall talk too much

So our guys will play hard as hell!! Iowa has something Ut doesn't, that is a negative fan base, our fanbase has faith in our football team!
UT plays with nothing to lose! Iowa will play with a "win? Great ! A loss? Oh well attitude "
Go Vols! We will beat Iowa.
