And again, no offense, but assuming that a coach currently in a reasonably good situation would want to come swim in this administrative *and bat s**t crazy fan* cesspool for a raise, no matter how much, is just not understanding of the reality of the candidate pool.

Now if your idea of how it should work is start at the top and go through every current head coach and make an offer, we should probably get to the retreads and coordinators by the time the February signing period gets here.

Tucker and Pruitt are solid hire and great recruiters and ready to take the next step as head coaches. Whoever the choice we need to get behind them, we can only go up!

If it’s Steele, I’m out. I’ll check back in, in 3 years.

I can get behind Pruitt or Tucker. SEC experience, young, elite recruiters, great defensive minds.

But I’m not gonna be a sheep. I won’t believe any of them will do anything here until I see it on the field.

We are not gonna get a "home run" hire. The "home run" hire was Fulmer.

I think it will be Steele or Tucker from all I am getting off the web sites.

A Triple H hire. Ho Hum Hire.

Good thing the coaching decision is not a committee decision! People on this board could not even agree on the list of interviewees, much less make a decision. Idea, let Phil Fulmer do his job, support the selection and as he said, “let’s get back to winning championships.”

Hell I guess if I had to choose one it would be Pruitt. Jesus, what a cluster f#ck of a search this has been. Just ready for it to be over.

Seems like a decent chance we get Tee as OC for Steele and maybe the others as well. Can’t really see any other reason to take Steele over those two unless Tee only comes with Steele. Might also bring back Rodney Garner with him.

However it comes out, we are going back to playing physical, big boy football, and will recruit like Hades. I also expect our recruits will play more like their star rankings than they have the past few years.

I really want Pruitt.

Would not be disappointed with Tucker.

Would be pissed if we got Steele over Tee. If we got both then I'd be alright with that.
