We have two highly recruited qb on our roster now, get another back up qb and go with whichever one of the two on our current roster earns the starting position. With real competition, not just giving it to the one with the most experience without fair competition.

I don't know how it got there, but I know it was found. During the renovations summer 2022. Where they took out all the old seats to do the fancy seats in the lower bowl. Anyway, seemed like the voo doo doll being unearthed was good bc 2022 happened ... maybe there's more that haven't been found.

Second thread from OP saying basically the same thing. Not sure why he's so worried about what people think of us. Basilio said we contacted three and one turned us down right off--likely this guy. Who cares, Spyre is calling up agents to ask if there's any interest, so the agents do their job and ask.

TCU has one QB on an NFL roster, Andy Dalton. The two starters that are NFL eligible during Heupel's time here are both on NFL rosters.

Max Duggan, the only other TCU QB drafted in the last 53 years (yes, TCU has as many QBs drafted in the last 53 years as we have in the last 3 years) plays for the St Louis Battlehawks after not making the Rams roster.

A quarterback from TCU would be foolish to turn down coming here from TCU for less money, let alone more money.

He can be big man on campus at TCU rather than getting lost in the shuffle or sitting on the bench at Tennessee.

The decade of Dooley, Jones, and Pruitt was truly miserable. In 10 years, the biggest thing we did was beat a mediocre Florida team to snap an 11 year streak. That’s literally it.

That, Kiffin, Mickey D bags, Georgia State, lawsuit, AD Fulmer, now Nico, and the fact that we haven't even won the conference or a natty in almost 30 years is pretty depressing.

Seriously. A TCU QB rejects a million-dollar raise to come to UT, and you don't think that makes the program look bad? We need to target someone who is in the portal and not attached to another school. Just my opinion. Poaching is a very bad look.

No starting QB is going to enter the portal unless he's got a new job to go to already in hand....well....almost no one.
