Best post of the Day. Today proved to me with doubt that Butch IS as good as we Hope.

My BAMA Buddy called me after the lose and said tough loss but Yall will win some SEC and NC's before Butch leaves Knoxville. He even said he was glad we got to come to their house this year. Blew me away hontestly to hear him say the things he did.

It sucks. But I just looked and we had just as many players out as they did. Didn't lose as many during the game, but we had just as many players hurt. Not an excuse.

I hope you are right, but at this point UT will probably be the underdog in every game for the rest of the season with the one possibility of ky.

I am very proud of this team tonight. They fought with everything they had and came within a hair of beating the #6 team in the nation.

We did that with practically no experience in the skilled positions and a QB who is just now starting to find his confidence as a passer.

The recruits on hand were probably blown away by this as much as I was. This staff took a team full of kids and perpetual quitters and came that close to beating a team that had a huge experience advantage over us.

Imagine what our young receivers and Branisel are going to look like in a few years, especially with Hurd coming to play RB for us next year.

I can't wait.
