Whether or not we win or lose our bowl game. Here are my top 3 focuses for the offseason.

1. Recovery
We were hit with an injury snowball but more of the boulder size that kept picking up steam. I understand injuries are mostly unpreventable but we need to do something about the amount during training camp and fall practices. New added workout programs focusing on flexibility and nutrition maybe?

2. Adding a QB coach
Dobbs is an amazing runner with great vision, speed, and deceitful power. But his accuracy is inconsistent and I think in fact terrible when rolled out. So by adding a QB coach and hopefully one that is a guru, he can work on his passing game. He has the ability to be a Teddy Bridgewater type player. Inb4 racist. We need him to be a true a dual threat to be able to make it to the championships.

3. Finishing
The one thing holding us back from being undefeated is finishing. I'm not sure how to prepare for that in the offseason besides having the mentality focuses. Whatever we can do in that area, we need to learn it.

Anyone have anything else we need to focus on?

We should probably focus on staying the "heck" out of the way of Butch Jones and let him continue to do what he has proven to able to do very well and that is build a football program.

Need big time focus on the bowl game. All of the extra practices should help pay off for us next year. Need to make the best of this time.

My offseason focus will be to stay off VN and work on things I need to work on instead of wasting time. Starting after the bowl or after signing day or after spring practice...or whenever

Jones needs to focus on being a much better gameday coach. It's the only thing that kept us from playing Alabama in Atlanta today.

1. Passing Game, deep threat, consistency, accuracy...
2. Pass coverage, especially with the loss of Randolph and McNeil...hopefully that's it, fingers crossed! We need Gaulden at 100%, Foremen and Mosely must continue to improve and they have...emphasis on recruiting.
3. LB depth, again hopefully we don't lose a starter too early. Sapp, Bates, Austin Smith need to get better and complement Kirkland/JRM.
4 OLine, time to take it to another level...as in Top 3 in SEC, reduce sacks even more. I want an Oline that can get the 2 point conversion 75% of the time!
5. Special plays...seems like we quit using them after the Floriduh game. I would even go so far as to take backups and create a different offensive to use as a change up. Think wishbone or moving DT/TEs out to the sidelines. Put it on opposing Defenses to make quick adjustments and to never be comfortable with the next play to be called.
6. Exploiting the TEs. This gets back to the Oline improvement.
7. Getting the most out of our highly talented Dline. I want a 50 sack, run stuffing defensive line...we had about a dozen near sacks this year when the QB has escaped the grasp of a DL.
7a. Better coaching decisions. I won't be as critical as most on VN but I think every game has at least 1-3 questionable coaching decisions such as the 2 point play that wasn't, scouting a QB on 4 and 14 with less than a minute to go and no timeouts, getting too conservative on play calling...blah, blah, blah.
7b. Top 5 or Top 10 recruiting class.

Here's how I see the off season. Bowl game gives the O' line extra development time. Jalen Hurd Will get to have his first off season of workouts that are not therapy related since his high school days, and his body will probably look like Henry's. Same for KMac. Preston Williams/ Jennings will get more WR development, scary to think about. These are the first things that come to mind that will really make a difference without focusing on the rest of the team.

Figuring out what word will take the place of "resiliency" and be repeated ad nauseam during the 2016 Season.

Learn how to get off the field on a damn 4th down. If a team went for on 4th and who the hell cares, it was basically a guaranteed conversion.

Not sure how best to conceptualize this point:

need to figure out how to keep offense on the field. I understand, I guess, CBJ's description of speed up, but our games seem almost like a basketball game...whoever has the ball last will score for the win.

Also, from outside looking in, how routine/easy is it for Asst. Coaches to all be "yes men" who only tell the head coach what he wants to hear.

Would hope that CBJ utilizes someone in his career of influences to do an objective scrutiny of the season and really drill down into some significant changes.

Given what seems to be next year's favorable schedule, cupcakes/weak East, surely CBJ can find a way to take it up a notch.

For Butch to learn:

1. You don't beat Oklahoma by being scared to let Hurd try to score.
2. How to count.
3. After counting, use that skill to determine he needs to go for 2 if up 12.
4. That 2nd and 20 is better than 3rd and 10 against most teams. Accept the penalty.
5. That calling timeout to bail out the opposition is bad in the SEC.
6. That he's allowed to be aggressive against opponents other than Georgia.
7. That he sees that he's allowed to beat the good teams on the schedule. More than 1 a year.

1. Implement whatever it takes to get 10 wins
2. Implement whatever it takes to beat Florida or Alabama
