How does Bama get calls in another team's stadium?

Give me a break, we've got bigger fish to fry than that.

The better question is, why does 'bama play more disciplined, inspired and smarter football?

Or maybe, how is 'bama 8-0 and us 3-5 with comparable talent?

You're an official and you have a #2 team and an unranked team and you have a questionable call. Which side are you gonna take your chance on?

Here is the real question:

Why was there so MUCH crimson in the stands on Saturday night? It was like a home game for bama...maybe the refs were confused.

Get one rushing yard once in a while when you need it and these calls are an after thought.

Maybe Alabama is just a better team this year because they aren't being out coached like we are. I know a lot of it is failure to execute on the players parts, but a lot of is just being out coached. Sorry, the captain obvious statement is Nick Saban is a much better coach NOW than Fulmer. Fulmer was great, but the game has passed him up. And I have no idea what's wrong with Clawson, Richmond I guess.

Teams with good coaching don't continue to make the same mistakes or continue lack of productivity. Good coaches get players on the field who makes plays.

The difference in discipline was stark. Bama had no penalties early in the 4th quarter I believe, we had already killed 2 of our own drives with penalties (with a few other less damning penalties under our belt as well).

I agree 100 %.

Part of Nick Saban's salary gets directly deposited in the SEC officiating payroll account.

I can tell:

Offensive Pass interference

Holding calls

No holding calls on Bama

Illegal chop blocks

The questionable call on the Berry fumble return

The calls are of no importance. We got beat by a better team in players, preparation, discipline, fundamentals. Three of the four are directly related to coaching.

Don't forget missed field goals, the inability to score on the 5 yard line because a penalty knocked us back to the..gasp...10 yard line. Maybe if we started taking advantage of what our D has given us and scoring touchdowns. Stupid ref calls wouldn't even matter. THere was a point Saturday where we should've been up 14 or 17 to 6. At the very least, 7-6. That's not the refs fault...that's stupid coaching and no execution or discipline.

There was an article in Chattanooga's TFP that said UT relies heavily on veterans now, while most of the other teams in the SEC have several freshmen playing... Imagine the years to come? Other teams getting better while we continue to decline? Even with a new coach, the results could be bad for a few years. Fulmer needs to step down, and let someone else rebuild this program... With some luck, we could be respectable again in 3 - 4 years.

I think the true number was probably 80/20 UT fans to Bama fans, and, yes, I was there. Unfortunately, the Bama fans were a lot louder and had a lot more to cheer about.

We'll see how he does when we get a coach up here. Mike Gundy or Butch Davis will stop this Bama nonsense.

This bama nonsense you speak of will have to be stopped in the area of recruiting, so unless Butch Davis or Mike Gundy can out recruit Saban in the state of Alabama, then they're gonna be good for a while.
