I didn’t think of that way but I would rather face a non-SEC team in supers as well.I just like the idea of playing North Carolina. The schools should play more often in all sports.
Plus, playing a non-SEC school seems more ideal. We’re going to get a top 5-6 seeded team in the Supers if we make it, so if it’s an SEC school, that means Texas, Arkansas, LSU, or Vanderbilt. Rather have UNC than any of them.
I think of it as if they threw in the SEC what would their ERA be or if Doyle or Phillips threw against their schedule what would their ERA be. These non-SEC teams stats can be a little misleading and our stats can as well with the schedule we played.Western Kentucky has two good starting RH pitchers ...
One has an Era around 2.75, the other just a little over 3.00 ..one of the guys is from Franklin, Tennessee. Drew Whalen..
