What's up with Brandon Powell 4* athlete from fla.? E.Woodbery says he committed to the Vols but his name isn't on the commit list. :dunno:

Actually, he decommitted from us, flipped to Miami, started waivering and re-opened his recruitment, then re-committed to Miami, which was said to be his "final decision, THEN he flipped to UF.

If he can not handle competition we do not need him. Someone may wanna tell some of these kids competition is one of the best ways to better yourself! There is talent anywhere he would choose all over the SEC. Tennessee has a wide open race at DT that is all a freshmen could ask for.

Fickle as a cat that sits in its owner's lap. You pay no attention to it, it jumps on your lap. You pet it.... he gone. Then he craps in your slippers on his way to jumping back into your lap.

How a high school recruit is afraid of competing for the job that currently has ZERO incumbents is beyond me...

Sorry -- I don't know where to post this information and I can't yet start a thread.

Randy Sanders was at Columbia (TN) Central High School today recruiting some kid...trying to get the kid's name. My sister-in-law recognized him and talked with Sanders.

When I get the kid's name, I will post...but somebody in the K-town area needs to get word to the UT staff...UT needs to be here talking with this kid ASAP. And trust me: I would know if any UT staff had already been here...

Having a coach just fresh from winning the NC at Central is a big, big deal...especially a former UT QB.
