I dont see how you can blame the defense when they were on the field the whole game, and without the turnovers we dont score a point.

You can't blame the defense but they must share some of the blame... They can get rest if they would every once in a while force a 3 and out. They consistently give up 3rd down plays to extend the opponents drives. This doesn't just happen at the end of the game.
